This meeting will focus on social isolation and loneliness and re-ablement
Wandsworth Council's Co-production and Partnership Group was set up for local people who use social services, carers and voluntary sectors representatives to work in partnership with council staff to help shape the way adult social care services are developed.
The group meets quarterly with key personnel in the Adult Social Care and Public Health department to discuss and provide feedback and support in developing policies, strategies and services, including recommissioning of services and dissemination of information. Read more about the group here.
The agenda will include:
- An opportunity to meet and speak with Professor Rusi Jaspal. He has been appointed by Wandsworth Council as an advisor to tackle the issues such as social isolation and loneliness. You can read more here.
- A presentation on the future provision of Reablement services in Wandsworth.
