Oksana volunteered for Healthwatch Greenwich as an Outreach Volunteer in 2022. She met people who shared their stories about health and social care. After the war in Ukraine started she unable to volunteer any longer then started volunteering with us at Healthwatch Wandsworth in 2023 as Policy and Research Assistant.
'She sad 'I involved in the research process, which gave me a great deal of satisfaction as well as new, intriguing, helpful skills and friends. Recently I started a new job as a receptionist at a nearby GP. I found this job opportunity while conducting research on GP websites and decided to give it a go, submitting my CV on their website. I feel like the experience gained with Healthwatch definitely opened doors to my professional career in the health field.'
