As part of their aim to improve back pain services for the Wandsworth community, local NHS are working to improve their self-management digital app called Get U Better. As you may be aware your GP practices currently prescribe the Wandsworth lower back pain app to help patients manage their recovery.
They are working to ensure the application is accessible and meets people's needs. Following the sessions with the Thinking Partners Group and PPI Reference Group last year, the Get U Better team are wondering if you might be willing to attend a follow up focus group to review the new version, think about the Get U Better team's engagement approach and what does and does not work well in the app, from the perspective of the community. It is hoped the application can be used in future for other health conditions.
Over a 2 hour session, a short demonstration of the app will be given and then they would like to capture your thoughts on how it could be improved to better reflect peoples needs. They would like to invite you to attend the following Get U Better app focus group sessions:

Wednesday 26th February, 11:00am – 1:00pm
Wednesday 22nd April, 11:00am – 1:00pm

NHS Wandsworth CCG, Room 4.5, 120 The Broadway, Wimbledon, SW19 1RH
Transport can be provided on request and reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed. As a token of appreciation, a working lunch will be provided. Please do let them know if you have any dietary requirements.
If you are able to come along to either or both of these dates, they will send further details of the sessions. If you are unable to make the above dates but would still like to be involved then do let them know and they can organise more dates.
