About this event
Bags of Taste targets food poverty head on, empowering people who struggle with food costs with real-life skills, knowledge, confidence and practical help to cook healthy meals at home.
The average Bags of Taste student saves £1,300 annually on their food budgets after completing a course of four lessons and report feeling healthier, more confident in the kitchen and in life. They also help people who are lonely, with a positive, shared activity in the community.
If you know of someone who relies on ready meals and takeaways--at high cost to their purses and their health--please let them know about these events.
Classes hands-on and FREE.
The next course has been funded by the Wimbledon Foundation Community Fund.
It will run every Tuesday, 10.30am to 1.00pm on 3, 10, 17 and 24 March.
