How should your hospital prevent and respond to falls during your stay?
The Royal College of Physicians has recently published a patient resource to inform patients and carers what level of care they should receive when admitted to hospital and if they have a fall
A patient and carer panel advise the Falls and Fragility Fracture Audit Programme (FFFAP). They chose the three most important findings of the most recent report from the National Audit of Inpatient Falls to create a new resource to inform the public what level of care they should receive if they sustain a fall when admitted to hospital.
The resource also advises people on how to get involved with patient and public improvement groups.
