News from our Assembly - 22 May 2019
Our public event in May was all about improvements to local services and how these changes are reflected in documents such as the local Health & Care Plan. Read on to find out more if you couldn't attend.
Our public event in May focussed on improvements - improvements to local services, including the Outpatient departments at St George's hospital in Tooting and a new plan to improve health and care in Wandsworth.
Key topics covered
- Josh Potter, from the South West London Health & Care Partnership, spoke to us about the Health & Care Plan. The Plan shows how working together with the same goal - to link health, social and community services together so that people can access them more easily - can improve our experience of the NHS.
- Rob Game, from St George's NHS Hospital Trust, highlighted some of the planned improvements to outpatient services following a 'requires improvement' rating at the time of the last CQC inspection.
- We gave a short presentation on the different ways that local people can get involved with our work and have a voice when it comes to changing local services for the better.
If you missed this event - don't worry - we have more planned throughout the year. Check the Events page for more information.
The report on our discussion on the day is now available on our website.
